Inside Out is creating a different dating experience for Christian singles in Lagos, built around meaningful conversations, games and intentional connections. What began as a Christian dating card game has grown into a curated community with four editions. Singles Trivia Night brought the concept to life, with A3 Tickets supporting the event and connecting organisers to sponsorship opportunities.

It Started With a Card Game — Then It Became Something Bigger

Inside Out didn't start with a giant event space, a DJ or a room full of strangers being told to “network.” It started with a card game designed to get Christian singles talking about something more meaningful than the usual “so, what do you do?” The idea was simple: create questions that could open up real conversations, make introductions easier and give people a reason to connect.

That card game eventually grew into a curated community and events platform for Christian singles. Across four editions, Inside Out has built its experiences around intentional connections, with an average of about 50 selected participants per event. The goal has remained the same: create a space where people can meet, interact and potentially build relationships without making the whole thing feel like a matchmaking exercise.

Forget the Awkward “So, Tell Me About Yourself”

For Singles Trivia Night, Inside Out took that philosophy and turned it into a game. Guests were introduced through structured icebreakers before getting into team-based trivia rounds, with questions and challenges giving everyone an immediate reason to interact. Guided Inside Out prompts added another layer, creating opportunities for conversations that went beyond trivia answers and into the kind of questions that actually help people get to know each other.

And that was the clever part: nobody had to walk up to a stranger and announce that they were there to “meet someone.” You could debate an answer, laugh over a wrong one, cheer for your team and suddenly find yourself having a proper conversation with someone you'd never have approached otherwise. The evening moved between competition, conversation and networking without ever feeling like a formal dating seminar.

The Room Was Doing What It Was Supposed to Do

Inside Out's real test isn't simply whether people show up. It's whether they actually interact once they're there. The format was deliberately built around participation from the opening icebreakers and trivia rounds to guided conversations, the final round and open networking. There was very little room for sitting quietly on the sidelines; everyone had a reason to participate, whether that meant answering questions, working with a team or starting a conversation.

That builds on what Inside Out had already learned from its previous editions. The platform's experiences have consistently centred on structured interaction, games, networking and guided conversations, with feedback highlighting meaningful interactions as one of the strongest parts of the experience. Looking at the room during Trivia Night, the formula seemed to be doing exactly what i

Then A3 Helped Take the Idea Beyond the Room

A good event needs people in the room. A great event also needs the right partners behind it. For Inside Out, A3 Tickets wasn't simply the platform handling tickets. A3 supported the event commercially and helped the organisers secure sponsorship support from Lovebox, giving the event another layer of brand partnership and helping turn the experience into something commercially sustainable

That matters because Inside Out has a clearly defined community. Rather than putting a brand in front of an anonymous crowd, the platform creates an intentional environment around Christian singles who are actively interested in connection, community and personal growth. Its partnership proposition is built around that combination of a focused audience, active participation and experiences people genuinely engage with.

Maybe Dating Doesn't Have to Be So Serious

That's probably the most interesting thing about Inside Out. It takes something that can feel incredibly serious meeting someone, dating, finding a partner, building a relationship and gives people permission to relax. Play a game. Laugh at the wrong answer. Debate something completely unnecessary. Meet someone new without having to make the interaction feel like an interview. Maybe the best connections happen when you're not trying so hard to force them.

Inside Out is ultimately building toward something bigger than individual events: a community designed to support people beyond dating and into relationships, marriage and personal growth through experiences, workshops and guided sessions. And that is what makes the events worth paying attention to. You don't necessarily walk into Inside Out and find the one. You walk into a room where meeting people feels natural, where conversation has somewhere to start, and where a genuinely good evening might be the beginning of something else. Inside Out is betting on real connections. A3 Tickets is helping them build the room.
